It's about images — not words

Traditional finders ask a series of preset questions and return a filtered set of results. That’s just too easy and not terribly fun for the customer. It actually sounds a lot like a pop-quiz! We proposed a solution that’s more emotional, abstract and engaging. We flipped the finder concept from text to images and created a shopping experience like no other on the web.

Personas typically relegated to a strategy deck to drive our approach ended up driving the creative. Our client created packages to differentiate their offer. We gave the packages a face and a home. The personas went more than skin deep. The tone of voice, visual language and targeted advertising all linked back to the persona. Micro-targeted results delivered.

Participation — on a lot of levels

Digital agencies typically know their place – in the studio safely basking in the glow of an Apple monitor. For the LOL initiative, our studio of digital designers and developers transformed into producers, directors, videographers, grips and even stunt doubles. To achieve the user-generated content feel we wanted for this project, we shot and edited all the video ourselves. We got the footage and didn’t get arrested.
